This medical tray leak detection modifies a thermoform tray rotary sealer to evaluate vacuum decay or loss. The station compares known “good thermoform tray packages” with a standard vacuum loss across the “Tyvek lid stock” to a variation of greater loss due to a failure in the seal area itself. This option includes upgraded vacuum system and surge tank with individual sensor systems for monitoring drops in vacuum. System will include an upgrade of the rotary sealer to include; programmable controller, operator interface screen.Job memory log for retaining the parameters on various package designs.
